Two brothers, Marcin and Michal Bielawski are the founders of Kosynier, which is a Polish manufacturer. Their designs are driven by the mutual interest in historical vehicles, as they grew up together in as smithy owned by their grandfather, where they learned all of the basics of metalwork. Inspired by classic cars, old Polish motorcycles, and a 1965 Mustang Convertible, which they were surrounded by while growing up, they naturally got the idea to create a vintage product.
They agreed to go with an electric boardtracks their product. Originating in the USA in the 1910s and 1920s, the boardtracks were racing bikes meant only for speed. The riders used to remove anything and everything that was deemed unnecessary, even the brakes in some cases. They had to be as light as possible, to be as fast as possible.
Their vehicle is classified as a speed bike, as well as a moped. This means that it can have the maximum speed of 45km/h in the EU. The company also offers customizations on their Kosyniers, with many possible combinations of vintage and futuristic designs. Therefore, if you have a particulary special idea or a design of how your bike will look, the designers can draw a concept for you and you go from there!
