3. Sportster
All of those who want to customize their own bikes and make it personalized should opt for the Sportster motorcycles. One of the most prominent Sportster models is definitely the 2018 Harley Davidson XL883N Iron 883. It comes with cool features that include a satin black clubman handlebar, a front spoiler, a red brake caliper kit and a compact sport wind deflector. However, what meets the eye is the brass accents on the bike, and they come from the factory. A bunch of parts such as the fuel cap, foot controls, engine trip and hand grips are made of brass.
“It’s only a handful of pieces, but it definitely helps the rider set their bike apart from anything else,” said Strunk. Another model in the lineup is the 1200 Custom, and Strunk continues: “The 1200 Custom was traditionally a very chrome-styled custom. In this case, we’ve taken it a little bit darker. “It’s a combination of black and chrome. It’s got a great new paint scheme on the 4.5-gallon fuel tank with a racing stripe inspired theme available in a number of different color combinations. It has mid controls and a fairly neutral handlebar position. This bike has traditionally been one that a lot of riders looking to customize will start with and change the bars or change the seat and make it very much their own.”
Let’s not forget about the Sportster Roadster that first appeared in 2016. “Taller suspension in the back gives it a little more of a sporting feel in terms of lean angle,” approved Strunk. “The handlebars are positioned a little bit downward so the rider is a little bit tucked in a tight position. This one is just a lot of fun to rip around on.”
