The Indian Scout debuted three years ago, and it didn’t take long for the manufacturer to realize that they had to produce the model under $10,000 to compete with the Harley 883. They created the Scout with a 999cc engine and removed one gear from the six-speed transmission. Also, they reduced the price to just under $9,000.
