8. DRAGON – DUCATI MONSTER
The Italians rank the Ducati Monster as a naked muscle bike since it has an exposed engine and frame. The trellis frame is an integral part of the bike’s design, which allows aesthetic design and structural efficiency. It is so immensely popular that it accounted for more than half of the company’s total sales in 2015. Ducati bikes have a 90-degree V-twin engine called “L-twins.” The Italian manufacturer produced more than 300,000 of these. The Chinese tried to make a replica of this popular bike, succeeding in the design but failing in the performance area. Their “Dragon” has a single-cylinder 150cc engine.
