2. Lotus C-01
Instantly, you can recognize that this design comes from Lotus. The front end and the logo are familiar to the public, but everything else about this motorcycle is slightly odd. Lotus is today owned by the Malaysia car company Proton. The interest in the Daniel-Simon power cruiser has been really high, and apparently, road-going prototypes are still being produced.
The price of this one is around $137,000 which tells you that for this motorcycle large quantities of carbon fiber and titanium are used. Lotus still speculates about the exact release date, and their spokesperson said: “We have received thousands of sales inquiries. We will respond to each inquiry as soon as we can, but in the meantime, thank you for your patience and continued support.” We would like to see this concept go into production.
