Engine
The engine of the 2018 Yamaha Bolt is an air-cooled, 60-degree V-twin 58 cubic-inch with four-valve heads, direct fuel injection and transistorized ignition. The compression ratio is low, only 9.0-to-1. Meanwhile, Yamaha opted for a five-speed transmission to complement the engine.
