It is also a misconception of car drivers that bikers represent a hazard in traffic and that car drivers thus feel more comfortable in letting them go by and then continue their way. On the contrary, motorcycle drivers are well aware of traffic rules and regulations and car presence on the road and will do everything needed to avoid an accident.
