New Honda Bike – Review of 2019 NC750X

Honda has prepared a new 2019 motorcycle for all motorcycle enthusiasts called Honda NC750X. In this way, a large Japanese vehicle manufacturer continued the NC700 series that began seven years ago, in the year of 2012. We decided to introduce you to the new 2019 Honda NC750X, but also some details about its predecessor NC750X. Well, if you’re ready, let’s start.

2019 Honda NC750X Design

So, Honda has prepared a very interesting motorcycle for 2019, and we must say that it is very good for new drivers that do not have much experience. Designed to be flexible and fun, it will ideally fit into adventure travel as well as everyday driving. We must also mention that the shortcut NC in the name of the motorcycle actually means the New Concept and relates to some features that originate in automotive technology by Honda and are now transferred to the production of bikes. First of all, they are about more efficient fuel consumption.

Let’s talk about NC700X’s outlook. At first glance, it’s easy to notice the LED headlight as well as the windshield that reminds us much of the NC700X. In addition to the headlight on the front, there is a taillight LED on the rear end.

In addition to the lights, our attention was attracted by the very slim designed seat as well as a storage space that is quite large and will enable you to take everything you need on a journey. The volume of the “trunk” compartment is 22 liters. Also, the fuel tank is installed under the seat.

Another feature that is very interesting is the LCD display, which contains all measuring instruments such as odometer, fuel economy, gear position and consumption gauges. Also, the LCD screen has the ability to change color depending on the function you are using, so it is possible to adjust the color in relation to, for example, the engine speed. Also, if you want to adjust the fuel consumption, the screen can display blue if the consumption is normal or green if you are driving in the ECO mode and that is really useful.

NC750X Chassis

The chassis of the new NC750X is made of steel, which means that the frame is stable and durable in all driving conditions. In addition, the wheels are made of cast aluminum. The steering head is set to 27 degrees. At the front end there is 41mm telescopic Showa fork with 5.4 inches travel while on the rear end, Pro-Link single shock suspension with 5.9 inches travel is mounted. As far as the brakes are concerned, at the front, there are 320mm disc brakes with the hydraulic caliper and at the rear, there are 240mm disc brakes also with a hydraulic caliper. The only difference in suspensions and brakes compared to the NC700X model is that the front and rear brakes on it are equipped with two-piston calipers.

Tires are also a similarity with the predecessor. The NC750X is fitted with the 120/70-17 tire on the front, while at the rear is 160/60-17 tire and both are with ZR rating.

As for the engine, the NC750X is powered by a 745cc liquid-cooled SOHC engine. The bore is set to 77 mm, and the stroke is set to 80 mm, while the compression ratio is set to 10.7 to 1, just like with the NC700X. Also, the NC750X is equipped with Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) as well as with electronic fuel injection. Another interesting feature is the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which is available in two levels.

Honda 2019 NC750X Price

As for the price, this will depend on the version of the machine you are buying, since the NC750X is currently available in two versions: the NC750X that comes with the basic package and the NC750X DCT ABS that is equipped with additional features such as Anti-Lock Brakes and Dual Clutch Transmission.

However, the price difference between these two versions is not too big because the basic variant of NC750X costs $8,099, while DCT ABS is $800 more expensive and costs $8,899. Both versions will be available as Ultra Blue Metallic color.
